To persist is a key act in me, it accompanies me as an intention engraved somewhere in my brain. This work speaks of that overcoming ability that somehow we carry within us. Although life presents itself differently to all of us, we can, nevertheless, with more or less tools, persist in the face of the challenge, and strengthen ourselves in the face of the path that is challenging us.

In this apparent state of stillness, of levitation, of sleep, there are internal contradictions that are symbolically represented: a tie from which you do not hang but which announces danger, the recalling of a rope that neither allows you to articulate with the parts of your body, to free yourself from that state, yet still relying on the mental force that guides that body and that is capable of dominating it. It is the transformation from the chrysalis, in a state of intimacy, of introspection during the development of your own wings, hidden from the world.
In these contradictions there is also what is permissible and what is desired, a tension to which we are exposed in all fields of life. There are things that we desire and to which we have quick access, others touch us as fleeting seconds of existence and there are others, to which we will not be able to have access because the breadth of the world surpasses us. Likewise, I think that persistence is an act of honor to ourselves, to our yearnings, and is the gratitude for being alive that the challenge of what we yearn for supposes.
